Hey, a quick follow-up to last week's post on how to get real ROI from a keynote speaker. This is the one leaders ask me about most, so let's talk about it.

Here's the mistake: everybody measures the talk by the room. Did they laugh? Did they clap? Standing ovation? Great, but that's not ROI. That's the opening.

The return happens after I walk off the stage. It's what your team does with it on Tuesday, next month, next quarter. And that part? You can actually engineer it.

Simple framework: before the event, pick one behavior you want to change. One. Then build a way to reinforce it after, such as a follow-up, a manager conversation, a metric you watch.

The keynote lights the match; your follow-through keeps it burning.

The best clients I work with don't treat the talk as the finish line. They treat it as the kickoff. And that's exactly why they see the number move.

So if you're going to invest in a speaker, invest in the after too. Want help thinking through how to make it stick for your group? Reach out and I'll walk you through it.

Go have a great day. See you in the next one.
