Seattle

Snoqualmie Falls

Because I believe life is about “creating moments,” when I’m traveling, my camera is always close.  My vision is when I’m 85 and drinking lemonade on the porch, I will have many pictures to look at and jog my aged memory about the gift of life.  Who knows, it could be Countrytime Lemonade or a Long Island Iced Tea…

I recently traveled to the Seattle area for an event in which I performed a two-hour empowerment session and then a keynote for the general session.  For those of you who don’t know, when I worked with Tony Robbins, I lived in 30 cities in six years, so I’ve lived “everywhere.”  Jennifer was with me, as she typically is, and we spent some time with a few amazing friends.  One of which was Kim and her husband Kevin. Kim was a High School friend, and her husband Kevin is an amazing and talented guy.  Our other social visit was with my former national director of sales at the Tony Robbins Companies while I was there.  He and his wife are absolutely incredible.  We played some hoop at Pro Club in Bellevue.  (www.proclub.com) Being an x-college basketball player, a club with some great runs is always high on my list.  Big “ups” to Bob for setting up the noon runs… wow, I had a great time.

Jennifer and I went to Snoqualmie Falls to check out some amazing natural beauty.   When I was on my 30-city Robbins’tour, I had visited this amazing sight previously, yet I am in a different place, so I had to see it.  On the way out, we stopped the town of North Bend, which was a logging community back in the day.  North Bend is a city in King County,

North Bend, WA

Washington, United States. The town was made famous by David Lynch’s television series Twin Peaks (also filmed in nearby Snoqualmie.) Since the Weyerhaeuser sawmill closed, North Bend has become an upscale bedroom community for the Eastside of Seattle, Washington.  Very Cool.

Lastly, we went to a Chevrolet dealership that was seriously “old skool”… it was hadn’t been remodeled since the 60’s.  In the dealership, there was some historic memorabilia… Here’s a poster for the new “hot” Chevrolet back in the day.  Top of the line model will run you $825.00.  I’m sure it had an iPod adapter and GPS… actually, I think it came standard with a tow rope.

wow!
